Getting to know the many neighborhoods of Atlanta—and increasingly the film sites therein—make guided tours worthwhile. Although historic locations often offer self-guided materials, there’s nothing like a local to point out where The Walking Dead zombies roamed, or share stories of Atlanta’s first suburb and the history of Downtown’s most beloved attractions. The best options are given by motor vehicle, whether mini-coach, e-car or trolley—all at a slower pace, of course.

Peachtree Trolley. If you're staying Downtown, this tour will familiarize you with the popular destinations there, including the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, and CNN Center.
